Schedule and sign-up sheet


BENNETT FAMILY REUNION SIGN-UP SHEET:
THURS. CHECK IN:  3:00 pm.  SET UP YOUR CAMPSITE/R.V. ETC.  DINNER ON OWN,  INDIVIDUAL FAMILIES.  CAMPFIRE  & MARSHMELLOWS  8pm  ….bring own sticks/roasters 
FRIDAY BREAKFAST:  ON OWN
FRIDAY EVENTS:  10 am – 12 noon  RELAYS/GAMES   on grassy area around the Courthouse.
CHILDREN 7 & UNDER (21 total)  2 couples needed to plan & execute(the games, not the kids J)   1._____________________________2.__________________________________________________
ADULTS & CHILDREN 8 & UP-  4 couples needed to organize games of: water balloon volleyball, croquet, baseball, dodge ball and relays (volleyball net & croquet eqip. on site; everything else needs to be bought in)         (Captain___________)                                                                                           1.________________2._______________3._____________________4__________________________
FRI. LUNCH COMMITTEE:  Noon… 1 member from each of the 4 main families to set out lunch supplies (hoagie sandwich makings, chips, cookies, drinks)  (The 4 main families will each supply lunch items for their own group: Pauline, Sam, Roberta & Marilyn)

AFTERNOON RELAY/OBSTACLE COURSE:  4 couples plus creative teenagers needed to set up obstacle course challenging enough for the most creative teenagers to use….. ( should be designed from home so needed equipment can be brought in)   With all the engineers in the family, this should be good!  We will have timed races using the course beginning at 2:00 p.m.   (Captain___________)

FRI. DINNER:  BBQ hamburgers, hotdogs, beans, coleslaw, chips, watermelon, drinks (4 couples to man BBQ, set out food, clean up:     1._________________2__________________3.__________________4.______________________
THURS. EVENING PROGRAM:  portable sound system needed.   Some thoughts so far:  square dancing, family skits, stories of Grandma & Grandpa Bennett, talent night, picture board w/favorite pics. of Grandma & Grandpa Bennett…….  Other:_____________________________________________________________________________
SAT. BREAKFAST:  On own.  Leave for Holden and Bennett Reunion  around 9:30 am.
*  Baskets for raffle: team up with another family or 2 and put together a basket (food, treats, cosmetics, toys, soaps, handmade items, etc.) to bring to the Bennett Reunion for the raffle.  Everyone then buys several raffle tickets for a chance at winning the baskets. It’s a lot of fun and money goes for funding of future Bennett Reunions. ( Let your kids get creative and put together a basket of things they would like to win.)  Also, each family brings a pot luck item for the lunch (chips, olives, cookies, etc. for those who can’t make an item from scratch)   Lunch @ 12:00, program, raffle, cannon candy shoot, baseball, clean-up at 3, then back to the Courthouse. 
SAT. DINNER:  Pulled pork, buns, beans, coleslaw, salads, fruit, brownies, drinks.
KANGAROO COURT in the Courtroom…..7:30 pm     Needed:   1 Judge (in robes)  ________________ 1.prosecutor (presenting the facts)_______________, 6 witnesses,(collecting the evidence)   ______________________,   _____________________, ________________ ,_________________, __________________, _____________________________  2 court reporters (writing out the certificates & attaching the consequences) _______________    (Captain/coordinator___________________)
This will be a light hearted recap of all the happy, silly, memorable & touching experiences that have happened during the reunion.
SUNDAY am.   We need to vacate the building at 11:00 am. unless no one reserves it later that day.  So far, so good.  We would like to have a short Sunday service right after breakfast and before cleanup begins (9:00)  Pianist (w/keyboard) _________________________, chorister___________, conducting__________________________remarks______________________.

CLEAN UP…….Each family is responsible for their own camping/living space clean up.  Kitchen and common areas need to be cleared of all food & trash; towels & other Courthouse items used should be brought to laundry area.  There is a cleaning deposit we need to get returned to us!    2 couples  to act as final inspectors.   1.____________________________ 2_______________________

LET’S MAKE THIS REUNION ONE THAT OUR PARENTS/GRANDPARENTS/GREAT-GRANDPARENTS WOULD BE PROUD OF!  I’M SURE THEY WILL BE LOOKING IN ON US FROM TIME TO TIME AND ENJOYING IT WITH US!   WE ARE USING MONEY THEY SET ASIDE FOR US TO BE TOGETHER------LET’S MAKE THE MOST OF IT!
